OUR PROGRAM

ACADEMICS

The academic stage monitors attitude towards academic progress and classroom behavior through the following stages:

Elementary School (grades 1-5)
Begins the monitoring process of the participant’s attitude and progress in the classroom. Identifies at-risk participants with educational issues and secures help in specific subjects.

Middle School (grades 6-8)
Identifies at-risk participants with educational issues and secures help in specific subjects.

High School (grades 9-12)
Assures each participant is on track to graduate from high school and then to earn college acceptance or a college scholarship.

ATHLETICS

The athletic stage monitors athletic and physical development through the following stages:

Elementary School (grades 1-5)
Introduces athletic and physical skill development in a fun environment through skill classes, camps, clinics, and teams.

Middle School (grades 6-8)
Develops athletic and physical skills through intensified sport-specific training.

High School (grades 9-12)
Exposes participants to college coaches and college competition through organized events and competitive teams along with continuing to develop skills through intense sport-specific training

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

The character development stage motivates young men and women to establish a realistic path to success.

Each year the Potential Youth Foundation will host a unique program in which four prominent coaches will address Upstate youth on meaningful topics such as: character, teamwork, values, fair play, leadership, reputation, and integrity. Elementary, middle, and high school students will be admitted free of charge. The message delivered by these sought-after, dynamic speakers can positively impact a young person’s life forever.
