OUR MISSION

Building solid young men and women through a structured program focused on academic, athletic
and character development.

OUR GOAL

The program’s goal is to leverage the lure of athletics in order to entice Upstate youth to develop academically and socially. The program is dedicated to developing healthy, hard-working young adults who appreciate the value of discipline, integrity, and individual contributions to their community. All participants will be better prepared to graduate from high school and then to earn a college education and apply it to his or her future.

OUR FACILITY

The Potential Youth Foundation operates out of the Potential Sports Academy’s facility in southern Greenville County. The facility is located on three acres and is over twenty-six thousand square feet. The buildings are equipped with fifteen hundred square feet of office space and houses three state of the art hardwood basketball courts, four regulation size volleyball courts, and a two thousand square foot indoor turf area for speed and agility training.

The Potential Youth foundation has a one thousand square foot Academic Learning Center. The Academic Learning Center contains 12 computer stations equipped with flatscreen monitors, wireless internet, and printing capability. The center is run by Sharonda Witter, University of Furman graduate.
